On our excursion to Český Krumlov, located in southern Czechia in the region known as South Bohemia, we will travel through charming villages surrounded by idyllic landscapes, often featuring a small church beside a peaceful lake.
Our tour of Český Krumlov will begin at the car park. During the guided visit to this wonderful town, we will discover many remarkable landmarks and buildings, including St. Vitus Church, Concord Square, the Barber’s Bridge, the Red Gate, the magnificent castle—the second largest in the Czech Republic—and the Baroque Gardens. We will also enjoy countless panoramic views, perfect for taking memorable photographs.
Český Krumlov is often described as a smaller version of Prague because of its similar layout and architecture. The Český Krumlov Castle was once home to several important noble families, which explains the variety of architectural styles found throughout the complex.
The historic centre of Český Krumlov is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At the end of the guided tour, the guide will recommend places where you can have lunch and you will have some free time.
